To the Senate Committee on Higher Education: DEI Policies

With the passage of SB 17 (Creighton, 88R), Texas has taken effective steps towards ensuring the integrity of higher education. SB 17 put an end to many of the CRT and DEI activities that were being practiced at universities. Still, those who wish to advance CRT and DEI will continue to seek out new paths to ensure that students are continually exposed to their hateful and often segregationist rhetoric.
