As committees of the Texas Legislature examine their interim charges, TCCRI will submit written testimony to inform its members on the subject of a hearing. Its submission contains background information on topic before the committee, important context to the issue at hand and specific policy recommendations. In light of the wide variety of perspectives provided in these meetings, TCCRI seeks to impart policy proposals that are solely derived from conservative principles. From its detailed policy research, to the values that guide its proposals, TCCRI's committee testimony has become essential to the Legislature as it transforms its input from recommendations into law.​​​​
